About The Project
The Merredin Energy Power Station is an 82MW plant consisting of 2 GE frame 6B gas turbines operating in open cycle configuration.
The $93 million open cycle power station operates as a peaking station to support the South-West Interconnect System (SWIS) at peak periods, especially when WA is experiencing extremely hot weather or gas supply disruptions.

What We Did
Supplied and installed:• Concrete slabs• Electrical pits and petistools• Concrete and conduits for street lighting• Conduit runs for fire suppression system pads• Concrete cutting and mastic jointing• Grouting, labour and plant hire• Finishing works.FRC Group also provided final trimming of site works and supply and installation of blue metal to finish of the site ready for open day.
